Today, Venezuala is a case study of how to turn order into chaos in jig time. Take a personality who knows exactly what is wrong in a society and how to fix it. In essence, the personality declares "I am God." Justice Brandeis warned against "beneficent tyranny". Because of the perceived good that is done, the laws of the universe are ignored, and the superstructure of the society soon crumbles.
The most universally recognized law of the universe is the Golden Rule, "Do to others as you would have them do to you." What is essential about this law is that it applies to the individual, and cannot be applied to government by proxy (aka socialism). The Golden Rule is not arbitrary, but rests upon the Science of being:
"When we realize that there is one Mind, the divine law of loving our neighbor as ourselves is unfolded; whereas a belief in many ruling minds hinders man's normal drift towards the one Mind, one God, and leads human thought into opposite channels where selfishness reigns." (S&H)
This is not religious belief. It is universal, moral, spiritual law. Unlike human law, this law carries with it enforcement, inescapable. Any human government which attempts to interfere with this law is doomed. The American experiment has proven to be more sensitive to this law, in concept!, recognizing the individual's right to self-government, freedom of religion, etc., and has had a profound influence for good on the rest of the world, not through government policies, but through a free market, religious tolerance, vibrant culture, etc.
The growing challenges of social and economic unrest will never be met by government policy, per se, but by a spiritual awakening to the Science of being and its Golden Rule.
