Following Jesus is a spiritual path, nothing less

Could there be anything more plain, that the spiritual must replace the material? - this from the Sermon on the Mount:

19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

Too often the Christian seems to associate the spiritual with life after death. But Jesus taught and lived by example that God, Spirit, guides us here and now in all our ways if we will only rely on Him. The following clip says it beautifully:

"to enter into the kingdom, the anchor of hope must be cast beyond the veil of matter into the Shekinah into which Jesus has passed before us" (S&H)
