Ever thought of worrying as a presumptuous sin? Is it not feeling responsible for something over which you have no control? How often have I caught myself in this predicament - feeling responsible but helpless in being able to do anything about it? and then the ensuing guilt!
This Bible verse could very well apply here: "Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression."
The great transgression - trying to play God: "Some people try to tend folks, as if they should steer the regulator of mankind. God makes us pay for tending the action that He adjusts... The divine Principle carries on His harmony." (Misc. Wr.) Is not the All-knowing, All-present, All-powerful in a much better position to be responsible for things over which I have no control? And what a relief to consciously relinquish that false sense of responsibility to Him.
Whether it be our children, our business, our spouse, the government, the world (!) - yes, we fulfill our responsibilities as they are presented to us, but beyond that, we recognize our God is a living God, governing every detail of His universe - our children actually belong to Him, our business, etc. and are never separated from Him.
The alternative is worry. Easy choice.
