Enforcing a set of beliefs based upon destroying or enslaving anyone who does not profess those beliefs is today at war with freedom of the individual. It has now gained the respect of the title: "war of ideas."
How different is this to:
2 + 2 = 5 is warring against 2 + 2 = 4. We cannot refer to these as right and wrong, no, no. Each one must be respected as having its point of view.
The current desparate attempt to avoid distinguishing between right and wrong is leading to unrestrained tyranny.
"The time for thinkers has come." (S&H) Freedom and tyranny cannot coexist. If one is right, the other is a mistake. One is intelligent, the other in non-intelligent. One is idea (based upon the assumption that idea requires intelligence), the other is not an idea at all, just a blind belief.
On this Independence Day, we pray that that which would destroy our freedom cannot hide behind the absurd phrase of "war of ideas" but rather is brought under the light of Truth, and seen for what it is, tyranny against individual freedom.
"God has endowed man with inalien-
able rights, among which are self-government,
reason, and conscience. Man is properly self-
governed only when he is guided rightly and governed by
his Maker, divine Truth and Love.
Man's rights are invaded when the divine order is in-
terfered with, and the mental trespasser incurs the divine
penalty due this crime." (S&H)
