Forget the Bible, forget Jesus, forget Science - all those outside influences muddy the waters. I just need to get in touch with myself, how I really feel, what I really am. "If it feels good, do it," follows as the moral imperative. This approach is ancient and Paul warns against it: "For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself."
As we have mentioned before, since we certainly did not choose to be here, there must be something greater than us behind our existence. A human self with no larger context is a mistake. Governed by personal sense, it has no God, no Principle, no Intelligence, no Spirit, no Love, no Truth, but only a human, corporeal sense of these.
When Jesus said "the kingdom of God is within you," he did not mean in a human, material selfhood outside the context of the great I AM! Rather, "Of mine own self I can do nothing. The Father that dwelleth in me, He doeth the works."
