Could it be otherwise? Can the infinite just sit there for ever? What a bore that would be! For that matter, can consciousness stay put? Try it! Ain't gonna happen.
So what is suggesting that we are stuck in a rut, that we have lost our inspiration, that things are getting old? Only a contradiction of God and His creation. This is a sure sign that we need Truth.
BUT, if we are constantly fighting to protect our comfort zone, resisting to leave the old for the new, eliminating all spontaneity in order to avoid risk from our lives - so we can live longer?!? - perhaps this is what Jesus was referring to when he said: "He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it."
So the point is: Never rest on yesterday's inspiration. What is the need today, Father? What is it that you require of me today? And insist that since consciousness is ever moving, then all things will be fresh and new. We will not settle for less!
