and noticed in several places that the wicked shall be "cut off." Cut off from what I asked? From spiritual sense, came the answer. What does this mean?
Since we know incredibly little based upon empirical evidence (what we perceive through the physical senses), and it is soon evident that the empirical evidence itself is variable, depending on time, place, individual, etc., our only security is in the All-knowing, which is only accessible through spiritual sense.
The one who is operating without spiritual sense is living a crap-shoot - sometimes right, sometimes wrong. Buy lots of insurance to cover the "sometimes wrong" scenarios. AND wills its way through. King Saul in the Bible was the perfect example. Through his disobedience to his spiritual sense, Samuel being his vehicle, so to speak, Saul lost it, was "cut off," became increasingly paranoid, and eventually went mad.
The promise of spiritual sense is beautifully described by St. Paul: "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him." (I Corinthians) This is the most secure place there can be.
